Piping plover.........endangered in Maine

I was out looking for something derelict for tomorrow.............these little birds were all over the beach. They were getting ready to fly south. They actually are here later than normal.

I started to trim the hydrangea tree today. It is so very overwhelming. I filled a big box of flowers to bring in to some of the women at work. It looks a little better.........yeah not really.

They finished the whole house yesterday. The painting, the roof and the deck. It looks great. I am so happy. It will be blipped soon I promise. I want to get the porch decorated first.
I made a beef soup tonight which will be turned into beef stew tomorrow........I loaded it with turnips and parsnips and carrots. It tasted like late fall. Delicious. I brought the two big soup bones to the dog next door, I think I have a friend for life. He's a Newfie.

Tony is hopping and playing all over the place. This with a fever of 105. The antibiotics should make him feel better soon. Yeah this cat is not going to be held down. He's a shelter cat and very happy to have a home.

Today was pumpkinpalooza in the cafeteria at work. All sorts of foods made with pumpkin. They were out of pumpkin whoopee pies.

As I lay here it occurs to me my arms are killing me I held the lopping shears above my head to cut branches. Tomorrow may be painful. Doesn't matter we have a gig Saturday and I am way excited!!!!!!

So now it's almost noon Downunder and we are drifting off to sleep in the north.....
