Not throwing in the towel yet

I have a small box of cosmos I forgot to plant this year. In the past week they have just exploded up from behind a bench buried in asters. They are not ready to give up yet. This one had a very subtle pink hue that I could not capture. After loading these on to my iPad and seeing the composition I really wanted to run back out and shoot them again but it gets dark so much quicker now. So here it is, daring it to get colder, saying bring it on......... And all the while looking lovely. I will opt for the blanket and something warm to drink. Maybe two.
