Happy couple

1940's festival at Pickering.

Nearly everyone was in vintage garb and happy to pose for photographs. The ladies had paid particular attention to their makeup with dead pan foundation and bright red lipstick. There were some brilliant hats so elegant with great diagonals and feathers.
Some of the dresses were originals, crepe, cut on the bias with lots of covered buttons.
All the ones I spoke to said their feet were killing them and they couldn't wait to get back to the Ugg boots!

I choose this blip for the Land Army hat and because they looked so happy.
