Work in progress

Today's the day ............................ for a puzzle

Not sure at all what this is - it wasn't here last time I looked.

It might be the creation of someone famous and it was probably on show at some time in the past in Grizedale. They're getting ready for a new exhibition at Abbot Hall Art Gallery in Kendal entitled The Nuisance of Landscape: Grizedale - The Sequel. It's billed as being an 'irresistible journey through the twists and turns of Grizedale Arts’ last 15 years, taking in artists Andy Goldsworthy, Marcus Coates, Olaf Breuning, Turner Prize winners Jeremy Deller and Laure Prouvost, and many, many more along the way'.

I asked the girl on the desk if she knew anything about this thing on the lawn and she said that when it was finished, you would be able to go inside it. It's big enough apparently for two people to have a one-to-one conversation there.

Mmmmh - I think we'll just wait and see ..........................
