sky gazing
up in lincolnshire where my dad has just moved, we went for a walk to hatfield moor. we trudged along a nice, frozen, muddy track for about a mile before entering the trees. about ten minutes later, we emerged into this landscape just as the sun was setting. the water was like glass and the peat so dark. it is a truly magical, mystical and beautiful place and a good reason why we should keep our nature reserves and wetlands!
i didn't do any editing either - it really did look exactly like that! i still see it if i close my eyes!
