Bony

The fine weather of yesterday deserted us overnight, replaced by very strong winds. My beautiful fiancée took the woofers up the hill for a wander whilst I trundled off to work - a whole string of very small jobs which took little time to sort out.
Back home for a quick lunch before HV and I headed out with the dogs again. We timed the walk very badly and both got soaked to the skin in very very heavy rain. It looks like tomorrow won't be much better.
I was a bit stuck for inspiration so I have dipped in to the October Word Challenge. Today the challenge word is texture, and I have always liked the worn ends on this vertebra we found on the beach a while ago...
