Inclement

This is the view from our seat in nearby Starbuck's as we fortified ourselves for the onslaught of food shopping next door.
There was no outside sitting today as we watched through the stacked up chairs and tables the good burghers of Edinburgh toiling up hill against the rain and wind.

There were school children out in their break time, ill clad, some just in shirts, some in jumpers and hoodies, but only a few in wet weather gear. It must be considered uncool to make any concession to the the weather.

For us oldies, we wore the whole inclement weather regalia, and ran home as quickly as possible with just enough food to sustain us for the day.
