Onesie Runsie

Yes it's me in a onesie. I never thought I'd ever wear one of these but I did a 5k onesie runsie today and had to. This was the only one I could find that wasn't a fleece....and it was a mans one. I had to put a belt around it as the crotch bit was down by my knees.

Unfortunately two of my running buddies couldn't make it due to injuries. But it was fun. Not too many entries. We had to run twice around Castle Park. It's a beautiful park with a river and lake in and it wouldn't be called castle park without a castle. We had to run three times around the castle. That was the start and finishing point.

After the run I went and bought a racing bike. I pick it up on Wednesday or Thursday. I've been wanting one so I can have a go at a triathlon.

Back home I put my new cycling shorts on and took my old bike out for 16 miles. The cycle shorts really do make a difference. It was such a beautiful day to be out and about in the fresh air.

Dad and I went out for dinner as we both deserved it today and neither of us wanted to cook.

Tonight it's a night on the sofa, candles burning, olives and wine for dad, coffee for me and a bit of TV.
