Warm apple pie ...
Back into the swing of the week, with a helping hand from Daddy.
Peach is off work today, unfortunately not by choice. However, that does mean that he's around to give a helping hand with getting the girls ready for school and setting up for Twins at Totstime :)
We had another great turnout for Twins at Totstime today.
I spent the afternoon completing what I hope to be the final draft of our funding application. This is only the first stage, and I am sure the hardest is yet to come, and I will face each challenge with a smile on my face.
I have also been looking into our summer holiday for next year. I really like the idea of a National Trust working holiday. This looks to be a fantastic experience for all of us to get involved with, whilst volunteering to help build better communities. Unfortunately, the three little ones are too small for now, but I definitely believe that this would benefit us all as a family.
DM did some baking today at Brownies and made her very first Apple pie. She did have a war wound to show for it too (she managed to peel off some of the skin off her thumb whilst peeling the apples). DM was very chuffed to be allowed to use the peeler and a sharp knife to cut the apples. We had the apple pie for pudding tonight and DM has done a wonderful job! It was delicious!!
