Clean up time
We had an early start to our Sunday, Rubels woke us up at 1.45am complaining of a sore neck. No sooner had I turned to get her some paracetamol, Rubels was sick :(
I was completely unprepared for it and unaware of the effects of a little girl being sick on the top bunk. So, after we had cleaned Rubels up, cleaned Aj up (as she sleeps underneath Rubels), stripped both beds and the bed protector of the spare bed underneath Aj; I then set to cleaning the floor and the bed frames, whilst appeasing DM and Pops who had woke up because of the noise and smell. We remade Aj's bed and got her back to bed, and kept Rubels in with us just in case.
As it was, she wasn't poorly again, she slept fine and even told us that she thinks she was sick because she doesn't like chocolate anymore. Ok, Mummy will eat it for you ;) To be honest, it was probably more to do with the overeating of sweet things before bed - bad mummy!
Due to our extra guest in bed, I didn't sleep too well. She may be small, but she fidgets and can actually take up quite a lot of bed!
When I did eventually drag myself out of bed, I felt the need to clean. 2 1/2 hours later our bathroom is pristine! Fortunately Peach was able to keep the girls out of the way for most of it, as my OCD was in full force and every thing in there was bleached. Aj decided to "help" me for the last hour and cleaned all of the toys. She had her own wash brush and scrubbed all of them.
The girls did their homework with Peach. R&P practised their letters whilst DM made her favourite meal out of playdough, cardboard, dish sponge and pompoms. It was very creative and looks very real.
We had a fabulous afternoon with a delicious Otixon roast cooked by Peach. Great food, great company - what more could a girl ask for? The perfect way to end an otherwise hectic weekend!
