Just Passing Through

A grab shot through the train window as we pulled into the station in Seattle. It wasn't as brief a visit as we would have liked on our journey home to Bellingham -- we were stationary for 45 minutes -- but with a few copies of the New Yorker, an Elizabeth George novel on my iPad, and the beautiful views, I wasn't bored on our six-hour-plus trip.

It was a great vacation -- Portland never disappoints us -- but we're happy to be home.
