Future Treats

In sharp contrast to yesterday's sunshine, today was the kind of day that makes one want to sit in front of the fire and read a book. It was very wet and grey.

I managed to drag myself to the Y in the morning, and felt better after a couple of hours of pickleball, but I had a bit of a relapse afterwards.

Cynthia has been busy drying tomatoes in the oven. It concentrates the flavor -- and sugar -- and they will feature in many delicious meals through the dark months ahead. She's also in full travel agent mode, creating trip options for 2014. Discussing them is almost as much fun as the actual travel.

I'll be surprised if we don't spend at least a few days in Bruges next year.
