Shopping

The temperature dropped a bit today and there was a rather hazy sky. We had lunch in the square in Menaggio, it was warm most of the time, but cool when the sun went behind a cloud.

This photograph is taken in one of the shops in Menaggio, it is a shop selling home ware and soft furnishings. Most of the soft furnishings in my apartment have come from here.

It is a shop where it is always worth having a browse. Today we left without any acquisitions.

Last May we went close to the Swiss border in search of garden centres. A couple of weeks ago we discovered there is a garden centre in Lenno. We took a walk down there today. At the time of writing we are waiting for the owner to come over this evening to take a look at the garden. So that was one shopping trip where we left empty handed, but having committed to some plants which will be delivered and planted in the next couple of days, after the visit this evening.
