First Snow

After the rain yesterday the sky has cleared and summer has returned to Lake Como. After some packing and a little local shopping we made the short journey to Menaggio in the car.

Although we had rain at lake level, on the nearby mountains there has been what I suspect was the first snow of Autumn. I doubt it will last though as it is far too warm, and probably too warm even at that altitude.
