Knockbrack
Earthdreamer had the calling to climb a mountain today, so off we went to Diamond Mountain on the edge of the Twelve Bens range. This mountain is also referred to as
Panorama mountain due to the stunning views out to the Islands of Clare Island, Inishbofin, Inishturk and Inishark, up to Mayo and across the bogs and mountains of Connemara.
It was so hot that a swim was needed to cool down after our descent so we headed out on the Aughrus Peninsula where there were many white sand beaches to choose from but this one had a wedge tomb on one end of it, what a location to be buried! The swim was gorgeous despite the sun going in.
Another evening in Clifden enjoying music, the place is buzzing!
