Boat Launch

Today was the big day, the boat we almost built in an afternoon was going to be launched from the Abbey slipway in Bantry. The designer of the craft was to be the lone sailor and he did look a little apprehensive! He was confident the boat would float but would it stay the right way up! The launch was successful, it did float the right way up and the maneurverability was impressive too, so he headed across the water, the setting sun behind him, while we all followed progress from the road.
After all that excitement a celebratory pint was called for, I wonder what Tim has in mind for it's next voyage! (please do take a look at my extra photos)
