Little Burn

"How long have we been standing here Poppy?"

"Too long, Bud. I'm giving up in a minute. You'd think one click would be enough."

"I can hear Rolly coming. He can run fast Poppy, I'm off to play chase."

"Can I have your cheese then?"

"Oh no, I'll wait for that."

He was right, Rolly, the greyhound, was coming. Their hearing is amazing, he was way in the distance. They had a great game of chase through the trees and into the stream.

You'd think they'd be worn out but now, back home, they're asking for a game of ball in the garden. Up I get again.


Oh dear, I've just looked at last years entry. How boring am I, it's nearly identical to today's, just a different wood. To think that I've prattled along for over a year about the same things. I think you are all wonderful for your patience and staying power!

P.S. Do you think Bud has put on weight? Now think carefully, if I get over 50% yeses then it's onto a diet for him.
