Whinlatter Trails

To keep with the sporty outdoor feel for the week, I managed to borrow a couple of extra bike carriers and bring down the 4 bikes so we could all head out and get some mountain biking done.

The weather down here this week and been amazing so far and today is of no exception - Sunny and Warm!

So it was out with t he bikes and we headed up to Whinlatter which is simple described as England's only true Mountain Forest, is home to stunning views, fantastic walks, exhilarating mountain biking, rare wildlife and adventure play .

As there was a little inexperience of mountain biking "in the group", it was decided that we would tackle the Blue Route - The Quercus Trail.

Another great day - the full loop was done in the morning - then lunch - and then myself and the boys tackled it again in the afternoon, whilst Clare enjoyed topping up on her suntan!!
