Days Gone By

The day started with a freak thunderstorm with lightning strikes damaging properties in the town of Ryde. A good dose of rain was perfect for the garden though.

Fortunately it cleared up later to a humid misty 22C. I visited Wootton station at the Steam Railway to photograph the lines' flagship engine Calbourne as she entered the station. This may be the last railway pic for a while as from next week we enter the Winter timetable.
