The Tourist

I was recently issued with a Track Pass which gives me access to the whole length of the steam railway for the purpose of photography. Today I took a 3 1/2 mile walk along the line between Smallbrook and Havenstreet stations.

Half way along is Ashey Halt where I pictured 'The Tourist' a non-stop train which re-creates once a day the only named train which ran on the Islasnd.

Ashey platform is on the right of the shot and the building on the other side of the tracks is the old Station House which is now a private residence.
