Lunchtime at the OK Corral.
I was out this lunchtime trying to cram 3000 steps in a half an hour'
(which by the way, I am 5'3" .
In meters I don't know what that is. Ok I am not freakishly tall let's just put it that way but I can reach most things.)
I am so way off topic, Sorry.
OK so I'm enjoying a . Lunchtime from hell. leisurely stroll, when out of the blue.....ok up the street came this little mode of transportation. This company gives tours around the city to tourists. I was going to put this in as a mono Monday and make it say, time for a ride........I loved the color one better.
Notice the horse nodding his head at me. Oh yeah I am invisible to men, but horses pick me out at 50 yards. Ok I don't know what that is in meters or metres either, or whatever they are.
As a side story, years ago when I was in Prince Edward Island, I found an old material shop. I picked out fabric ( I used to quilt) and brought it to the counter. The clerk said" let me get a yardstick" . I thought they used the other measurement in Canada. I guess a yardstick is a yardstick. Years later I am still confused.
Again off topic.
I trimmed my hydrangea tree this afternoon. I was going to bring some bouquets to work and it occurred to me rather than pick them one at a time, a branch at a time would be easier. They are pink and green and white. If you are around Falmouth stop by I will give you some. Who am I kidding, I will give you a lot.
Ingrid's tire was fixed and all is well with the world. We are going to a retreat this weekend. I plan this every year and it is a blast. A wicked blast. I can't wait. We leave at 8 in the morning and we arrive at Hope Maine at about 3:00. It's a three hour trip but we have things to do. We stop and hit our regular places. Reny's, big Al's, Clayton's. It's a whirlwind of tacky awesomeness.
But
There is no wifi. So I will have to back blip. But I am getting ahead of myself. More importantly, We hope the tire is ok
Ok that's another thing. It's tire up here and tyre elsewhere. I am so confused. I am about ready to just say wheely thingy.
Better still I speak a lot of French. Let me look it up, hold on,
Be right back,
Ok that's it I give up. I tried " how do you say tire in French.
Yup,
It came back with tire.
I am exhausted.
So goodnight my friends in the north and.........as always, good morning sunshine to down under.
