Little red wreath...

A new week begins with Miniman starting to do mornings & lunch at school. As the leaves started to fall on the walkway from the railway bridge to the school gate and the sun tried to break a way through the vast greyness it started to feel more autumnal. These berries were sparkling in amongst the hedge warning that Christmas is lurking only 101 days away (a number that Miniman checks almost daily). I booked the Santa train yesterday. Don't blink or it will be upon us!

On another subject I got greeted by Miniman coming out of school after lunch whining at me how he didn't want to go to nursery (for the first time ever) because he'd already had a busy day at school. Bless him. Needless to say I was totally sympathetic to him and took him home...got him changed and told him I'd got too much work still to do before taking him to play with his little friends at Ashleigh. He was smiling when I drove off...honestly!!
