Stoking the boiler

An outing to the water park this afternoon. I took Miniman and his bezzie from nursery/school TJ for a couple of hours. Our jaunt included a trip on one the miniature trains through the 'forests with the gnomes & the crocodile'. It's one of our favourite things. It's compulsory to squeal all the way through the tunnels as the driver toots like Thomas...well it is for us anyway. On the way back through it was for the rest of the passengers too!

We past this engine that was stopped taking on water as we went through Far Leys station. The guys that run the railway are all volunteers and the care they take is marvelous. Such a shame to think part of our lovely Water Park will be taken out if HS2 has it's way. All for the sake of a faster route to London :(
