Trumpeter Swans

Trumpeter Swans were recently very rare because of overhunting and competition with the more aggressive Mute Swans imported from Europe.

But thanks to a wonderful man called Harry Lumsden they are coming back to this part of the world. He organized tagging and release programs and this beautiful bird is once again living on Lake Ontario.
