Stuzy Brunch

My very good friends Stu and Suzy (aka "Stuzy") were in town to celebrate their wedding anniversary today so we met them off their train for brunch at Alchemist New York Street (see picture of Audrey outside).

Audrey was absolutely exhausted though so it was tough keeping her going while we chatted. They know the score though as they have a daughter Audrey's age. Suzy had even brought Audrey some jigsaws and a new book (she's a professional) to keep her entertained.

We got home and all crashed out. Angus's new job is really taking it's toll now and he's permanently exhausted. And I was shattered after another poor night's sleep (downside of the super meds is insomnia). We need this holiday we have coming so badly.

Audrey and I spent the afternoon in the park messing about and then it was home for tea and Winnie The Pooh stories.

Am off out tonight to crash Stuzy's wedding anniversary dinner (gooseberry klaxon). Just hoping Audrey settles for the babysitter, although the good thing is she knows her from nursery so if she does wake she will be with someone familiar!
