Smiley Sunday

I've had a massive smile on my face today. Despite having a slight headache (prosecco, white wine and a Cosmo oops), it was totally worth it! I had dinner with two of my oldest friends (see pic) last night and it was so wonderful. I laughed so much my stomach hurt. And the food at Angus's place was incredible (lobster special - woop!) Just made me wish they lived closer though. But have vowed to get down to Guildford to see them a lot more too.

Angus, Audrey and I had a lovely lazy family day today. Audrey slept in until 8.45am despite sleeping through for the babysitter last night. And I really appreciated the lie in!!! Good timing Audrey. We are a family of champion sleepers and by 2pm, we were all asleep again which gave us a much needed boost for the afternoon.

Audrey and I had a run out to Didsbury Park with the scooter and got the car washed on the way back. Meanwhile Angus watched the Man Utd game and made us some yummy sausage and mash for our return.

Lazy night in front of the telly tonight and then an early night as we have painters arriving at the crack of dawn to steal our kitchen again tomorrow.
