Above us the clouds

An early start today as we head back to Lenno. Our flight to Amsterdam was scheduled to leave Aberdeen at 6am, in fact both our flights left late. In the case of the departure from Amsterdam because people who had checked in their luggage did not board the aircraft so their luggage had to be traced and unloaded.

It was cloudy at Schipol Airport but brilliant sunshine when we arrived in Milan. This time our hire car is a Ford Fiesta with four doors, an unusual luxury as I had only paid for a FIAT 500 or the like.

Nice to be back in Lenno. We stopped briefly at the supermarket. With the arrival of a thunderstorm in the evening we decided to stay at the apartment rather than walk into the village for a meal.
