After the Storm

Yesterday evening we had an amazing thunder storm. It was almost impossible to tell when one thunder clap finished and the next started. Almost the same with the lightening flashes. The rain was absolutely torrential. The hills in front of the apartment were totally obscured.

We sat outside on the terrace for the first hour or so of the storm and then eventually came inside. The storm rumbled on into the night until we fell asleep. The sky this morning was crystal clear, no hint of cloud or haze. The temperature gradually rose to around 27 degrees.

After a supermarket trip we went over to Bellagio for a light lunch. The photograph shows the hills on the west of the coast just north of Lenno. At the moment I am afraid I don't know the name of the church.

In the evening we put our new BBQ into service. Superb spiedini, we will absolutely have to do spiedini again. Tomorrow I believe more thunder is forecast, probably not until the evening.
