Times Of My Life

Cool

It was baking hot today, at least 35c.

We did a bit of exploring; down into the underground chamber which was built as the town air-raid shelter during the war and up to the highest point in the town to visit this lovely old church.

We stayed rather longer than we had intended, as there was a wonderful view from the cloisters and it was so beautifully cool. However, we made a hasty exit when a very strange guy appeared, who was talking loudly to himself and swearing at some unseen 'M----- F-----s'.

Not sure if he was drunk or deranged, we toddled off back down the hill as fast as we could caper, and went straight to the Royalty Café for dos cervezas and a dish of Padron peppers.
