Deja Vu

Hold on. I though we did this yesterday.

Well yes. It was Alex’s birthday yesterday and he did have a cake and a candle to blow out. However, today is his birthday party, so a second cake and candle-blowing opportunity.

At least the party he wanted was a relatively quiet affair. Alex just wanted a couple of friend over for a sleepover and even one of them didn’t want to stay the night. Consequently, a birthday tea and a DVD followed by a ‘midnight feast’ (served up around 9pm) and sleep until pickup around 10am was not such a bad deal.
