Lunch By The Cam

Following an appointment with my consultant at the Lister Hospital in Stevenage, Mrs W and I went to Cambridge for lunch; she had made up her hours over the weekend to get the time off. This blip is not a good photo but is the only one I have and I wanted to register the fact that today is the day the consultant decided to go ahead to reverse my ileostomy.

I have questioned whether or not I want to go ahead with this surgery but I am completely persuaded that my life will be a lot better if I do and that while initially it may be difficult following the surgery, it will be beneficial in the long run.
