Tiger trap or spider surprise

Back home. The car hire return and meeting up with DS#1&2 worked smoothly and we got back to Sablieres for a late lunch even after stopping at a couple of brocantes en route.
Good to be back and unload a car of all the camping detritus. The house was in remarkably good state after ten days of occupation by eight under 22 year olds.
One new inhabitant is this spider that has taken up residence by the source. Impressive both in size and colouration and even possibly in venom but that has yet to be tested.
The gardens are still there and some watering has even taken place. Plenty of things to harvest.
