Swoe

An early visit to the allotment to retrieve more alarmingly sized courgettes and do a very late transplantation of leeks (the first sowing failed, overwhelmed by weeds I think). I did a certain amount of hoe-ing and was reminded what a splendid implement is this swoe, which we bought on the recommendation of steviefish. It cuts both ways!

Managed to play some music in the afternoon and, after some difficulties, repeating the recording exercise with the strange glowing thing. It does add a bit of hum, but I think the cousins can cope.

Later on we went round to Mel's for her housewarming party - apart from getting caught in a sudden downpour on our way across the Links, it was a very enjoyable evening.
