Fireplace

It rained all day, but I thought I had got a reasonable blip out of it by getting a close-up of raindrops on the window with reflections inside them. Not in the cabbagetree class, mind, but I was pleased with the little upside-down building in one of the droplets. Only when I took a second look did I notice how filthy the window glass is.....

In the evening we went across to the Carriers Quarters to watch the Scotland-Belgium match and drink beer with parsfan. It's not cold enough for the stove in the back room to be fired up yet, but the lighting gives a pleasant illusion of warmth and cosiness.
