A walk in the park

Today we had scheduled to work out in the yard but it was such a nice day that we decided to have fun instead of doing chores. After all, there is always tomorrow to get the work done and not every day is beautiful and sunny.
We stopped at Starbucks first for quite bite and some latte's. Then it was on to the park where we sat by the lake in the sun and people watched while we finished our coffees.
I took a bunch of pictures at the park including some ducks that were being fed by a few little girls and their moms. I almost went with one of those shots for my blip but I kept coming back to this shot of the bridge and water. I loved how green everything was.
After the park we went shopping at Home Goods to look for some new fall décor for the house. I was disappointed because they had all Halloween stuff and not much for fall. I'll have to stop into Pier 1 this week. We ended up sitting in the backyard once we got home and it is where I am still sitting as I type this. It's a beautiful evening. Oh well, time for dinner.
