Solo Saturday

Audrey playing on our newly re-covered 'Elton John' chair which was delivered back to the house today. Was happy to see it especially in it's new coat!

Bit of a strange Saturday. I thought Angus was off in the daytime so Audrey and I had quite the shock when he appeared at breakfast from the slumber I left him in, suited and booted and with a taxi running ready to take him to work outside.

Am still in a bit of a medication fog, so driving anywhere was out of the question. Audrey and I amused ourselves playing, watching TV and visiting parks as is customary with a two year old. She also decided that today was the day we should start potty training (having developed an aversion to nappies all of a sudden). I would have been quite happy to wait until after our holiday at the end of the month but since when did anything with toddlers go to plan!

As ever, any Mummy blipper tips welcome! Today was a disastrous start! I actually think I have inadvertently made her frightened of the potty by talking about it so much!
