I love you Mummy

"I love you Mummy". That's what she just said! When I tucked her into bed. My heart did a somersault. Every night before bed I say, "I love you Audrey" and tonight unprompted as I tucked her and her teddy Charlie under the duvet she said it back! Wow.

Had a shaky start to the day. Woke up feeling drugged (grrrr sorry for the over share on these meds, they have somewhat defined my week) but after a cuppa was right as rain and have remained so all day. Unfortunately before I had the cuppa, I thought I couldn't possibly work today in that state so I delegated everything to the two girls I work with. Which left me with very little to do today!

Hung out with Angus while Audrey was at nursery. He read his book and I did a few emails and admin. Then I did a big food shop online and a few jobs at home.

Picked a very tired little bunny up from nursery. Apparently she has been dancing all afternoon with her best friend Sylvie (who we bumped into in the park yesterday - it was a true joy to watch them play together!)

Just had a lovely bathtime and story (Audrey is finally starting to appreciate the wonderful Peter Rabbit books bought for her by Angus's Grandma). I do a quick version with the pictures but it's a start and I love the thought of her learning these wonderful stories as she grows up.
