Blooming Hosta

It's hard to believe we just had rain on Saturday because all my flowers were dry and in need of watering today. This coming week promises to remind us that summer is not over yet. With temperatures near 90F most of the week it will definitely feel like summer.
While I was out in the yard I took this photo of the Hosta plant that is in full bloom right now. They are great for shady spots and can fill a rather large area with their big leaves. As I was squatting down with my camera to get a picture I was quickly reminded of my rafting trip. My muscles are still not 100% recovered. Apparently the backs of your legs up to your butt are the muscles you use the most. Ouch!
