Rest Stop

It was a warm summer day today and walking at the beach made it feel even more like summer. For most people this week is the last time they will be at the beach until next summer. I will continue to go for my weekly walks on the boardwalk until the bitter cold of winter prevents me from doing so.
My sister and I did our walk on the boardwalk and I definitely worked up a sweat today. At the end of our walk there is this gazebo where we reward ourselves with some shade and a seat on the bench facing the ocean. It feels so good to sit and feel the cool ocean breeze after walking.
This is more or less our view from the gazebo. This view is looking off to the right.
Today we sat there longer than usual because it was such a nice day. Eventually we were off to have a well deserved lunch.
