Beach Activities

I took my long lens out this morning on the beach intending to post a blip of the surfers but in my desperation to ensure a had a high enough shutter speed I chose too wide an aperture with a zone auto-focusing which meant that none of my shots were really sharp enough to share. However, I did get a reasonable shot of a dog chasing a ball at the point where he/she is trying to position him/herself to catch the ball before it lands. I did not realise at the time but the fact that the balk was orange day-glow coloured helped to distinguish it from the background. The surfers will have to wait for another day.
