I set myself a challenge to day of trying to take a reasonable shot among the rock pools at Barns Ness but even on a good day I find that it is really difficult to make this environment spring to life and today was grey and windy so the reflection in the water pools was distinctly turgid. I ended up[ taking a few shots at a decaying decoy platform on the beach where at least the textures were well defined and the colours saturated.
