Mildread

From the encounter in the street with the woman with the little puppet I wasn't all that hopeful that Mildred and the Midnight City would be any good. But actually it was extremely well done, keeping the kids engaged while getting in plenty of little clever jokes. They also did some really neat animation using two overhead projectors and silhouettes projected onto that big sheet.

Then it was wandering around dodging the rain and a trip to the toy shop in Stockbridge, which I managed to avoid by stumbling across Gramma Transport Division in Dean Park Street - a bike shop seriously challenging Ronde for cool.
