Wrestle
Sunday was like Saturday but sunnier. Everything has deteriorated a fair bit. The ground's a little more muddy after the rain. The toilets are, well, festival toilets. But we're up and mostly packed up, leaving the tent up to dry in the sun while we head off for coffee and bacon.
More mooching about listening to the fag-end bands, although the kids did enjoy the Barrow Band who seemed to sing the same song over and over just changing the words to suit a different vegetable. Yes, they sang songs about vegetables and gave away the vegetables. Someone got a potato. Ewan got a lettuce and sat eating it during the rest of the show, at which point I decided they were bloody geniuses.
More sock wrestling. For some reason, known only to himself, Ewan challenged me. I went easy on him and beat him 3-0 using only one hand. So he fought Ellen who put up a good fight but he's stronger and has longer arms and legs so beat her easily.
The kids had a water fight, which was a good choice on a hot day and easier to clean up. After that we headed home, unpacked, shook the glitter out and shoved the kids in the bath while I went to collect the mutt and dinner.
Back to work tomorrow. Boo.
