Lunchtime escapades

I am walking everyday on my lunch hour, by myself, rain or shine. Usually I walk about 10 miles or so for a half of an hour and do pretty well....about 1.5 miles. Then I go back to my desk and am all sweaty for my patients. and finish my day.
Today I trudged around the western promenade. I came around a corner and happened upon 3 dogs. They were having a great time. 2 bull terriers, and a cute brown dog of undetermined parentage. They were chasing each other and barking until I walked past.

Cue the scary music here. They stopped and looked at me. The biggest terrier came over to sniff me. Oh damnorama I thought. This could suck big time. I looked at him and said hi. Now this dog was not into conversation. It did not take a psychic to see that communication was not his forte.
He sneered at me. (Seriously I have 3 sisters and a brother. I know a sneer. )
His owner daddy informed me that he wanted my peach. It was a white peach. It was my favorite peach. All my fear left me. Good luck with that I said and walked away.
The dogs just watched me.

I love white peaches. They are sweet and I love them. I would fight for a white peach. Brave or stupid? Who cares. Did I mention it was a peach?

I trained a new employee today. His name is Joe and he ended up teaching me a few things. That is so cool.

So tomorrow I have my day cut out for me. I have to wash the storm windows that we took off the house to have them painted. I may replace the windows in a few years. Until then I will have to wash them. Only I would be excited about that!

We are now involved in deck wars at home. Color choice is the problem and . I am sure I will win in the end. we will be looking at a few more with the final decision to come. I am conceding not to paint the aluminum storm door as my Dad does not want it painted or replaced. It doesn't close tight and the b that was in the center of it has fallen off. But he wants to keep it and we shall. I found a cute wooden door with gingerbread accents and almost fainted with excitement. Not so much.
Well it is his house!

I have another weekend off and I am so excited. I going to make a blueberry cake, which by the way, the blueberries from my garden are sweet and oh so good.
Last week they were gross. I am so happy!
If you come over I will give you some.

I have shot these gears a dozen times but today I am blipping it. I don't think I have blipped these before. I wanted to mono it but, the color added so much.

Well I am signing off and wish a good afternoon and evening to the north and a good morning sunshine a to the lands down under!!!
