Blooming Alcester

I popped into Alcester today for a couple of food items. As I drove past the High School, several lads came out of the school gates and onto the pavement. Each one held a piece of paper, and each was grinning broadly. It made me smile to see them so happy – they obviously had good GCSE results. I would have stopped and asked if I could take their photo, but I thought
1. They may think I was a bit odd
and
2. They may think I was a bit odd

I therefore continued on, into town.

After doing my shopping, I walked along the High Street, and I thought how pretty it looked with all of the flowers and the bunting, so here for your delectation is Alcester High Street (with no grinning youngsters).
