Tuesday: Colonial

We have gone all colonial in the house.  After several summers of mosquito misery and not being able to sleep with the window open, we have succumbed to a mosquito net.  I have never slept under one before so tonight will be interesting.

That aside, I had a ridiculously long lunch today.  It wasn't even by choice, or preference, it was just due to the slowest service in the world.  We sat down for lunch at 1300 and the main courses came at 1530............I was seriously losing the will to live.  Added to that, I had done the inviting so felt somewhat mortified, although all my colleagues were remarkably sanguine about it.
