Day trip

Continuing my pattern for making Richard drive as much as possible on his days off this summer, I had this mad idea that we should go all the way into town and get some grocery shopping, come all the way back again, then go all the way to Torrington again to visit Rosemoor Gardens with Gemma and Tom and then drive all the way to Okehampton to visit Okehampton Castle.

We did it. We were tired. Some of us were more hung over than others.
And one of us even had a unique combination of Asperger's, tiredness and PMS that she managed to keep almost a bit hidden most of the time. Apart from once this morning when she thought she was going to have to rethink her plans, but she got over it by slapping herself on the head with her hairbrush!

That someone had a lovely day and that was because she thinks everyone else had a good day and she hopes she didn't do too badly...

I wanted to remember the day Gemma and Tom came to a castle with us so I thought I'd get a photo of them walking through the ruins. Obviously Tess thought it prudent to photobomb the whole thing.
