The young dudes

Today Joel got a certificate from the college in the post to say he's passed his engineering diploma (yay!), which means he can go on and do his IT course next term (yay!).
Gemma came home for the weekend (yay!) with her boyfriend, Tom (yay!), so the house was cleaner and a bit more fragrant than usual (yay!) and I even ventured into Gemma's room and woke up the spiders (yay!) ((okay, not so yay - she's terrified of spiders)), and changed her sheets.
So I suggested we all went to the pub early doors and had a drink while we were all together. And we did.
Then we came home and had tea and discovered Gemma's Tom is fun after a few glasses of wine. (not that he wasn't fun anyway)
