A watched drip never drops
- or at least not until just a bit before or just a bit after you've pressed the shutter. Or the wind blows the drip off and you lose focus because everything's bouncing around.
Cor blimey.
So it got to evening and the rain had hardly let up all day. Then I remembered blipfoto and went outside with my camera.
Gloom.
Drippy gloom.
Anyway so there's a random bit of drippy apple. I didn't know apples were covered with tiny hairs.
I had a reaction to mushrooms last night and this morning. Sometimes I can eat them, sometimes I can't. Last night I couldn't it seems. So I had 12 hours or so of stomach cramps and feeling not right. I watched 2 - yes 2! - Harry Potter films with Tess today. Joel mostly hid in his room, making the most of his day off, and Gemma had an interesting day doing a trial session for a local branch of W£+^ersp**ns in their kitchens. She came home a bit traumatised, longing for a shower and a salad, saying that cooking greasy meat was really unpleasant (she's a vegetarian), and although they want to send her on an induction day on Tuesday she's not sure she can cope. She thinks she'd be much better off working somewhere where she doesn't have to handle meat constantly. There's other stuff I won't repeat on here.
So. That was my day: stomach ache and rain. Fab.
