Pollenaceous

No idea whether that is a word, but if it isn't it should be! ;-)

I saw this little fellow covered in pollen in one of the hibiscus along our road. I decided to get out for a walk this morning as the forecast was none too good for this afternoon. In fact, as at 4 pm, there's been no rain and hubby is still working in the garden. Hopefully, he'll pick some blackberries while he's out there as there's loads in the back hedge....

As predicted the Post Office are cutting back on their collections from postboxes. The little one on a pole that I passed on my walk will have its latest collection at 9 am as from mid-September - it has been 5 pm! So some forward planning will be required with regard to birthday cards etc - it may put some people off and they'll send an e-card instead, so the PO will lose even more revenue...

Have been doing some more of my tapestry this afternoon and I'll be going back to it in a minute. Had a good long chat with Dad on the phone this morning - all is well with him.

Ah, the sun is out again - must go and have a wander in the garden and drop a few hints about blackberries....;-)
